OPEN TRIBE

I'm thankful to see that there are now 7 of us who have picked the word OPEN as a word to focus on it 2014.  There is so much to share and learn...For tonight though I'm going to call it a night, as I need some sleep and I leave for work in about 5 hours...May God richly bless you all as we draw near to Him...

Like many others I found myself being reflective about 2013 and was thinking about my goals/resolutions for 2014 when I saw the post about choosing one word rather then a list.  I have to say upon further reading and praying about it this feels less daunting.  I choose OPEN as my word to focus on in the coming year.  May God help me to let go of things that close me off, keep me distracted, and help me to be 100% OPEN to Him.  I pray for:

• OPEN eyes
• OPEN ears
• OPEN heart
• OPEN mind
• OPEN home
• OPEN to adventure
• OPEN to trust
• OPEN to "failure"
• OPEN to love
• OPEN to growth
• OPEN to change
• OPEN to correction
• OPEN to joy
• OPEN to new friendships
• OPEN to miracles

I'm sure this list will grow and change as I do.  I pray that God will meet me here and help me as i start this new journey and to not get discouraged when I miss a day or week or life gets crazy.

I look forward to delving into more scripture to see what God has to teach me about this one word.
